Long day... Long night.

Today was unexpected. Thought I was only taking my mom's car back to her and then she would run me back home. Come to find out she scheduled or appointments to see our Crohn's doctors today. So I found myself on my way to Iowa City for an appointment I wasn't even aware I had until 10 minutes ago.

The appointment went well. My doctor and I discussed my options for getting my Crohn's under control. Instead of doing Methatrexate shots every 2 weeks like my mom, I'm going to start Remicade infusions. The infusions take 3 hours and are given threw IV. This is a better option for me. Mainly because Methatrexate will cause birth defects and I'm currently trying to conceive. So Dr. Tamboli decided the Remicade would be a better option for me and it would start working the fastest.

I'm a bit excited. Matt said he is going to go with me. I hate going to the university due to me spending sometime in there with my ex that ended up passing away. It's an emotional ride every time I'm there and he understands this. So I guess spending 3 hours in the hospital getting infusions won't be so bad with him by my side.

Anyways I guess I'm going to get off here now. People are her to socialize and I'm blogging the whole time, lol. But alright I'll blog again tomorrow. Or maybe tonight. Later!

My first blog.

Well I came by this on accident and decided to set it up. I've had one before and really enjoyed writting with it. Since this is my first one there isn't really much to say right now tho. I suppose I'll write back again soon when I have something interesting to say.
